How to fix black screen for Asus ROG Strix GL12CX
Asus ROG Strix GL12CX have a big issues! Is not starting anymore? Only black screen and blinking led`s ? Or maybe not even led is blink? Then device is completely dead? mini pc won`t turn on anymore? Asus ROG Strix GL12CX won`t start? Asus ROG Strix GL12CX wont boot? Black screen fix guide can help you, if your motherboard or video card is not broken. At least you will know.
Then maybe we can help you with that by giving you some tips.
1. Remove case cover and look for video card (that where you plug in monitor)
2. Remove video card and if you have another vga or hdmi slot, plug the monitor there and see if works
3. Plug another monitor or TV and if is working, then your video card is broken
4. First thing to do, is to remove the bios battery and let your mini pc for 60 seconds.
5. Try to start up now.
Is not starting?
1. Next step is to remove battery and RAM
2. Get a screwdriver and remove the case.
3. Push from one side first, then the remaining side (see image bellow)

Asus ROG Strix GL12CX how to remove battery:
Get a flat screwdriver and push to release tab, and the battery will come out.
4. Start your mini pc without RAM and battery (only with the power cord plugged in) for 60 seconds.
5. Keep the power butoon pressed until the fan will stop.
6. Remove the power cord and put the RAM and battery back, then start the device.
Not working?
This is not good.
If the processor fan is not working, the led are not working and is completely dead, can be your motheboard, video card or psu (power supply)
What you can do more?
If you hear fan working, and led`s are blinking then you can try to connect the mini pc to any TV or Monitor HDMI or VGA to see if your screen is bad.
If the Asus ROG Strix GL12CX is working to your monitor or TV, then you should replace mini pc monitor.
Note! In almost 80% from cases, the video card or motherboard is broken and must be replaced.
